• A Consult Liaison and Emergency Psychiatry service that conducts around 3,500 new evaluations each year.

• A Chemical Dependency service, which manages around 1,000 outpatient and group visits, alongside two intensive outpatient programs.

Application Process and Requirements

The program offers four PGY-1 positions each year and accepts applications exclusively through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). Key application requirements include:

• Curriculum Vitae (CV).
• Medical School Transcript.
• Dean's Letter.
• A minimum of three letters of recommendation, including two from psychiatrists who are familiar with the applicant's work and experience in the U.S. healthcare system.
• A Personal Statement.
• ECFMG certification (if applicable).

International applicants are also welcomed, with the program offering J-1 and H-1B visa sponsorship options. To qualify, candidates should demonstrate prior psychiatry experience within the U.S. through externships or observerships (minimum six months) and must have passing scores on the USMLE Step 1 and 2 or COMLEX exams.1
