Overview of the Program

The Pulmonary Critical Care Medicine Fellowship Program at Broward Health North is a comprehensive three-year training program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME). Application Process

All applications are to be submitted exclusively through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). The program does not accept applications via FAX, email, or postal services. Participation in the National Residency Matching Program (NRMP) is mandatory, and no exceptions will be made for applicants outside of this process.

To be eligible for an interview, applicants must pass the USMLE Step 1 and Step 2 examinations. A minimum of three Letters of Recommendation are required as part of the application submission, and a departmental letter is optional. Interviews for the program will be conducted virtually for the 2023–2024 application cycle.

Competitiveness and Special Requirements

The fellowship program is highly competitive, often attracting applicants with distinguished academic and clinical backgrounds. The program is open to both MD and DO graduates, as well as international medical graduates (IMGs), promoting diversity among fellows.
