The Greenwich Hospital/Yale University Internal Medicine Residency Program is celebrating 49 years of affiliation with Yale School of Medicine. Located in a residential community with rich cultural and recreational opportunities, residents enjoy an excellent location approximately 31 miles from midtown Manhattan. The program offers six three-year Categorical and seven one-year Preliminary positions. Interviews are conducted between November and December.

For the post-graduate tracking, 31 categorical residents graduated in the last five years. Of these, 19% practice primary care, 26% are hospitalists, and 55% have matched into fellowships. The three-year rolling ABIM pass rate is 95%.

The program emphasizes resident wellness with meal stipends, gyms nearby, organized social events, and free access to the UWorld Qbank for Step 3 preparation. Additionally, residents have access to a comprehensive wellness program and resources provided by the Employee Family Resources.
