The Westchester Medical Center Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program is located just 20 minutes north of New York City. The program is fully accredited by the Orthopedic Residency Review Committee of the ACGME and offers three five-year training positions. Residents will experience rotations at various hospitals, including Westchester Medical Center, Maria Fareri Children's Hospital, Stamford Hospital, and Montefiore New Rochelle Hospital.

The didactic schedule includes protected conference activities on Mondays and Wednesdays, featuring Grand Round Speakers, anatomy lab dissections, morbidity and mortality conferences, as well as specialty lectures. Residents also have opportunities to attend national courses and conferences throughout their training.

The curriculum involves rotations in various specialties such as trauma, spine, hand, pediatric orthopaedics, sports medicine, foot, and ankle. Residents will have hands-on experience in a Level I Trauma Center, a dedicated pediatric hospital, and other clinical settings.

To apply, candidates should submit their application through ERAS. Application requirements include a Curriculum Vitae, medical school transcript, USMLE scores, personal statement, letters of recommendation, and a dean's letter. Competitive applicants will be invited for interviews typically scheduled in January.
