The JFK Medical Center Family Medicine residency program accepts applications via the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) for PGY-I candidates. The deadline for applications is December 31, with interviews occurring between November and January.
Application Requirements for the JFK Family Medicine Residency Program include: - Graduation from medical school within the past 3 years - Passing all USMLE Steps on the first or second attempt by the NRMP deadline - International Medical graduates must fulfill all ECFMG requirements - At least one year of hands-on clinical experience in the United States within the past two years - Submission of three letters of recommendation, with at least 2 from supervising physicians in the U.S. - Meeting all requirements for a New Jersey residency training permit
Personal interviews are required and will be conducted in person or virtually based on recommendations. The program does not offer observerships.
