Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center Program

This program at Lincoln Medical Center offers a comprehensive Internal Medicine Residency training. The program is fully accredited by the ACGME and is known for providing extensive clinical experience in inpatient and outpatient settings, preparing residents for various career paths in internal medicine.

The program accepts applications from graduates of US/Canada medical schools who have passed USMLE Step 1 and Step 2 CK exams on their first attempt and have a valid ECFMG certificate by the NRMP match date. Graduation from medical school within the past 5 years is also preferred. Candidates graduating from foreign medical schools must contact ECFMG for application materials and eligibility requirements.

Selected applicants are invited for interviews from November through December, with two-member interviews held, and the department submits a rank order list to the NRMP. All positions at Lincoln Medical Center are filled through the NRMP. The program supports J1 visas for matched residents who are not American citizens or Green card holders.
