Wyckoff Heights Medical Center offers a Pediatric Residency Program that spans a three-year period with increasing patient care and supervisory responsibilities. The curriculum includes 12 rotations per year, each lasting one month. Residents have the opportunity to rotate through various pediatric units such as the inpatient floor, emergency room, ambulatory care, NICU, and newborn nursery. Electives in pediatric cardiology, gastroenterology, and neurology are also available.

Teaching at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center is provided by a faculty of 15 members, including 10 core faculty members. Residents work alongside 6 residents, 3 each in PGY-2 and PGY-3. The program emphasizes skills development in clinical note-taking, task prioritization, supervision of junior residents and students, effective communication with healthcare staff, resource utilization, and clinical procedures.

Residents participate in outside rotations at Maria Fareri Children's Hospital during their second year, involving adolescent medicine, developmental and behavioral pediatrics, endocrinology, pulmonology, and hematology/oncology. Additionally, residents experience the pediatric intensive care unit at Cohen's Children's Medical Center during both PGY-2 and PGY-3, which provides advanced therapies like ECMO, RRT, iNO, and HFOV.
