The Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center-Shreveport offers a five-year ACGME-approved Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program. The program accepts three PGY-1 positions annually through the National Resident Matching Program. Residents rotate through various Shreveport hospitals, including Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport, Shriners Hospital for Children, Overton Brooks Veteran Administration Medical Center, Willis Knighton, and Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport - St. Mary Medical Center.
