The residency structure includes a clinical base year (CBY) during which interns will work alongside residents in multiple specialties, including surgery, internal medicine, and family medicine, as well as in the transitional year program. Clinical exposure to operating room anesthesiology will commence in the first year, complemented by rotations in the intensive care unit (ICU), emergency room (ER), surgical, internal medicine, and elective rotations.
