- OSU Medical Center: A flagship osteopathic hospital supporting intensive hands-on training with a large volume of cases.
- Morton Comprehensive Health Services: A community health center providing extensive medical services.
- St. Francis Hospital: This tertiary center offers specialized care across a wide range of medical services.
Training Structure
The Family Medicine Residency employs a clinic-first or 2+2 model where residents spend half of their training in continuity clinics and the other half in specialty rotations. This structured yet flexible model enhances continuity of care and allows residents to manage their work-life balance effectively. Specific training includes:
- PGY-1: Includes immersion into family medicine and core rotations.
- PGY-2 and PGY-3: Rotation through various specialties, allowing residents to tailor their rotations according to interests and career aspirations.

1Application Requirements
Applicants must meet specific qualifications for consideration, including:
- Graduation from an accredited US College of Osteopathic Medicine or a medical school in the US or Canada.
- Graduates from other international medical schools must have a valid ECFMG certificate or a full, unrestricted medical practice license in Oklahoma.
The application process requires submission through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) and mandates a holistic review of each application. A complete application should include transcripts, USMLE or COMLEX scores, letters of recommendation, and personal statements among others.
