The Family and Community Medicine Residency Program at UT Southwestern provides a diverse and comprehensive training experience. Application Information:

• Interview Season: Virtual sessions offered starting in the fall of 2023
• USMLE Requirement: Successful completion of USMLE Step 1, 2CK, and 2CS prior to employment
• Eligibility Criteria:
• Must be eligible to work in the US
• Eligible for a Texas license upon completion of residency
• Recent medical school graduation preferred
• Passing grades required for all exams
• Recent clinical experience recommended
• Application Deadline: Applications accepted through ERAS; deadline is December 15

International Applicants:

• ECFMG certification may not be required before interviews
• U.S. clinical experience is valued but not mandatory
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.; J-1 visa applicants considered on an individual basis
