The St. Luke's University Hospital/Warren Hospital Family Medicine Residency Program at Warren Campus offers a unique learning environment since 1980. It provides real experience and quality education in a friendly and nurturing setting. The program has the distinction of being the first nationally accredited program by both the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) and the American Osteopathic Association (AOA).

Application to the program must be made through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) and applicants must meet certain eligibility requirements. These include being graduates of United States allopathic or osteopathic medical schools or international medical schools recognized by the World Health Organization, having three letters of recommendation, graduating from medical school within the past five years, and passing USMLE/COMLEX exams, among other criteria.

The program is affiliated with Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM), Drexel University College of Medicine, and Rutgers School of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey. Clerkships for medical students in various specialties are also available.

Residents at St. Luke's - Warren experience a well-rounded curriculum encompassing various specialties over the course of their training. In addition to hands-on patient care, residents participate in academic day lectures, board reviews, monthly conferences, and other educational activities.

The program is directed by Dr. Nandhini Veeraraghavan, who oversees a dedicated and experienced faculty that includes physicians with diverse areas of interest and expertise. Current residents have graduated from prestigious institutions and bring a wealth of experience to the program.

Residents are provided with a competitive salary and benefits package. The program does not sponsor visas at this time. Graduates of the program have gone on to diverse practice settings and fellowships across the country.
