Suburban Community Hospital Program
Transitional year - East Norriton, PA | ACGME Code: 9994100250
The Suburban Community Hospital Transitional Year Internship Program accepts 6 transitional year interns per academic year. They do not require a Chairman's letter of recommendation, but it is acceptable. The program prefers recommendations from physicians familiar with the applicant's medical education experiences.
Applications are reviewed only when complete, and the program does not guarantee immediate responses. Interns at Suburban Community Hospital have call responsibilities shared among all interns during the week and weekends. There are teaching opportunities with Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) medical students. In the first year, interns receive 2 weeks of vacation.
For further information about the program, applicants can contact Teena Saji, GME Coordinator at 610-278-2003 or [email protected].
