The Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center at Lubbock Program offers a three-year residency training program in internal medicine. Residents have access to internationally-known faculty and gain experience in internal medicine clinics, preparing them for fellowship training and future careers.
Application requirements for the program include graduating from an accredited medical school within the past 5 years, submitting the ERAS Common Application Form, Curriculum Vitae, Dean's Letter (MSPE), a minimum of three Letters of Recommendation, Personal Statement, Photograph, Medical School Transcripts, and USMLE and/or COMLEX Transcripts.
International applicants are accepted on J-1 Visas, must have graduated within the last 7 years, and should have an ECFMG certificate at the time of the interview. The program does not accept H-1 Visas and does not require US clinical experience but prefers it.
