University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Regional Centers (Southwest) Program

The Family Medicine Residency Program at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) Southwest Regional Campus offers a comprehensive curriculum and robust support for residents. The program requires residents to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 for employment at UAMS and its partner hospitals.

Application requirements include passing USMLE Step 1&2/COMLEX 1&2 with three attempts or less, USMLE/COMLEX transcripts, medical school transcript, dean's letter (MSPE), three letters of recommendation, no more than five years out of medical school, at least one year of clinical experience in a US health care facility within the last two years, and a valid driver's license. The program does not sponsor H-1B or J-1 visa status.
