The Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program at the University of Illinois College of Medicine aims to train well-rounded clinical radiologists with a focus on research. Residents are trained to serve as consultants in patient care and are involved in diagnostic and therapeutic imaging-guided procedures. The program offers practical experience in various radiological subspecialties and a comprehensive lecture-based curriculum. Residents are encouraged to engage in basic and clinical research.

Application Requirements: - Participation in the National Residency Matching Program (NRMP) - Applications only accepted via the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) - Required documents include personal statement, curriculum vitae, medical school transcript, three letters of recommendation, Dean's letter, and photograph - USMLE Step 1 required; Step 2 scores are considered if available
