The University of Mississippi Medical Center offers an Integrated Interventional Radiology Residency Program. This program provides advanced interventional radiology training to board-eligible graduates of a diagnostic radiology residency program certified by the ACGME or equivalent entity. The training includes interventional radiology procedures and peri-procedural care, clinical and imaging rotations, and medical intensive care. The course of training is two years, with the option for advanced placement into the second year for those who have completed a valid early specialization in interventional radiology (ESIR) certificate during their diagnostic radiology residency.
The program is directed by Dr. Garth Campbell, MD.
