Residents begin with a year of internal rotations in Jackson and transition to a 1+2 model rural training program in Martin, TN, focusing on the primary care needs of underserved populations. Specifically, residents can expect to rotate through inpatient medicine, ICU, obstetrics, emergency medicine, behavioral medicine, and more. Each PGY year increments responsibilities in both outpatient and inpatient settings, providing a diverse range of clinical exposure.
