The Neurology Residency programs at Dell Medical School at The University of Texas at Austin offer focused training in general and subspecialty neurology. Both the Dell Seton Medical Center Program and the Ascension Seton Medical Center Program aim to train outstanding clinical neurologists with comprehensive knowledge, skills, and attitudes to meet the clinical challenges of the 21st century. Application Procedure: - Applicants are encouraged to apply to both the Dell Seton Medical Center Program and the Ascension Seton Medical Center Program. - They participate in the National Resident Matching Program and submission is through the Electronic Residency Application Service. - Application deadline is October 15, but can be extended under special circumstances. - Required documentation includes a dean's letter, at least three letters of recommendation, medical school transcripts, and USMLE or COMLEX transcripts for both Steps I and II.
International Medical Graduates (IMGs) are encouraged to apply. Requirements include graduating from medical school within the past three years, at least one letter of recommendation from a U.S. physician, and J-1 visa, green card, or U.S. citizenship prior to rank list submission, among others.
