The Vanderbilt University Medical Center Department of Anesthesiology Residency Program offers a comprehensive education and training experience in anesthesiology and perioperative medicine. For International Medical Graduates, a J-1 visa is accepted, and H1-B sponsorship is not supported.

Training takes place at Vanderbilt University Hospital and Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital, among other locations. The curriculum includes a Clinical Base Year with rotations in internal medicine, surgery, critical care, and others, followed by clinical anesthesia experiences in various subspecialties during the CA-1 to CA-3 years.
