The AdventHealth Florida (Orlando) Internal Medicine Residency Program offers a unique opportunity for residents to advance patient care through cutting-edge research overseen by the Dr. Kiran C. Patel Research Institute. Additionally, the program has a nationally recognized Pepin Heart Institute that provides patients with access to the latest cardiovascular procedures and technologies.

The curriculum of the program includes 13 blocks of rotations each year, with most electives focusing on core internal medicine and its sub-specialties. The schedule is designed to accommodate residents' career goals as much as possible. Residents have the opportunity to attend various conferences and pursue offsite electives in specialties such as interventional radiology, ophthalmology, and dermatology.
