This is the AdventHealth Florida (Tampa) Internal Medicine Residency Program. The program emphasizes advancing patient care through extensive research conducted at the Dr. Kiran C. Patel Research Institute. The AdventHealth Pepin Heart Institute is nationally recognized for its cardiac care, consistently introducing cutting-edge procedures and technologies. The Taneja Center for Surgery offers modern facilities to enhance patient care and experience.

The curriculum consists of 13 blocks of rotations per year, each lasting 4 weeks. Residents have the opportunity to engage in core internal medicine and various subspecialties, with flexibility to tailor rotations based on individual career goals.

The program hosts conferences and allows residents to pursue electives in internal medicine subspecialties and other specialties like interventional radiology, ophthalmology, and dermatology. Residents at the PGY 2 or 3 level can partake in one offsite elective per year. A board review course is mandatory during PGY 3.
