Albany Medical Center Program

The Plastic Surgery Residency program at Albany Medical College follows an integrated surgical model aimed at training plastic surgeons to be eligible and qualified for board certification by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. The program accepts two residents per year for the six-year training cycle. Residents undergo 16 months of integrated core surgery training with graduated responsibility. They participate in all aspects of care, gaining hands-on experience across various surgical disciplines.

The program emphasizes clinical exposure, offering a high volume of clinical activities with progressive operative responsibilities.
