Ascension Macomb-Oakland Hospital Internal Medicine Residency Program offers 13 approved positions under the leadership of Program Director Dr. Benjamin Collins-Hamel, a Board-Certified Internal Medicine Physician. The program boasts a comprehensive curriculum that includes rotations in various specialties such as Inpatient Medicine, Medical ICU, Cardiology, Pulmonology, and more. Residents also benefit from daily morning lectures covering a range of topics, noon board review sessions, monthly journal club meetings, and engaging research activities.

To apply to the Ascension Macomb-Oakland Hospital Internal Medicine Residency Program, candidates must submit their application through ERAS. Required application components include a medical school transcript, dean's letter, 3 letters of recommendation, a personal statement, and COMLEX or USMLE scores. Interviews are held between November and January, and selected candidates will participate in individual interviews with the Program Director and the interview selection committee.
