Creighton University School of Medicine (Omaha) Program

The Creighton University School of Medicine Radiology-diagnostic program is described as a small, tight-knit residency with 12 residents and no fellows, offering ample exposure to advanced imaging even during the junior years of residency. They emphasize excellent camaraderie among residents and support for self-education materials and conferences. Each resident receives an iPad and subscriptions to StatDX and Rad Primer. The program prides itself on providing a positive learning environment with a solid curriculum and a lot of faculty-resident camaraderie. The educational curriculum covers a wide range of rotations, including Cardiothoracic, Abdominal Imaging, Musculoskeletal, Cross-Sectional Abdominal Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, Breast Imaging, Pediatrics, Interventional Radiology, and Neuroradiology. The program also highlights scholarly activities and research conducted by residents, offering various educational funds and support for presenting at conferences. The Radiology Residents alumni of the program have had a history of success, with residents consistently achieving high pass rates on the American Board of Radiology certification examinations and obtaining competitive fellowships and positions after graduation.
