The Internal Medicine Residency Program at HCA Healthcare Sunrise Health GME/MountainView Hospital uses a 3+1 schedule system. Residents rotate through inpatient medicine wards, night float, and various subspecialty rotations for 3 weeks followed by 1 week of ambulatory care in the continuity clinic. The program includes 4 weeks of ICU rotation each year and a 4-week Emergency Medicine rotation in the senior year.
The program offers a wide range of electives including Addiction Medicine, Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Infectious Disease, Psychiatry, and others to enhance the clinical learning experience for residents.
