The Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center Psychiatry Residency program offers a combined civilian/military psychiatry residency experience in Wilmington. This program is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education and admits a total of seven residents per year. Out of these, four positions are for non-military residents and three are for military residents.

Novant Health does not sponsor any visas for residency programs.
