Carolinas Medical Center Program

The Sandra and Leon Levine Adult Psychiatry Residency Program at Atrium Health - Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte offers a unique training environment focused on promoting mental health and well-being. Application requirements for this program include completing the ERAS application, having a National Resident Match Program (NRMP) number, submitting a personal statement, providing three current letters of recommendation, and presenting USMLE and/or COMLEX transcripts with a requirement to pass Step 1 and Step 2 CK and CS on the first attempt. The program accepts applicants with USA Citizenship, Permanent Resident status, or J-1 or H1B Visa only, including 6 months of U.S. clinical experience for IMGs. The program also requires an ECFMG certificate for IMGs and its supplemental application.
