Rush University Medical Center Program

The Rush University Medical Center Otolaryngology Residency Program is a five-year ACGME-accredited program that provides residents with comprehensive training in otolaryngology. Residents receive personalized attention and guidance from dedicated faculty to develop exceptional surgical and diagnostic skills. The program covers diverse areas of otolaryngology, including subspecialties such as otology, head and neck surgery, rhinology and skull base surgery, laryngology, sleep, facial plastic and reconstructive surgery, and pediatric otolaryngology.

The curriculum consists of rotations at Rush University Medical Center and affiliated hospitals, with opportunities for research tracks, patient safety, quality improvement, global health, and leadership. Residents participate in various procedures such as transoral robotic surgery, minimally invasive skull base surgery, and microvascular reconstruction of the head and neck. The program offers elective rotations in the final year to help residents prepare for their future careers.
