The Addiction Medicine Fellowship at The MetroHealth System, affiliated with Case Western Reserve University, is a comprehensive 12-month program designed to equip physicians with advanced skills in the prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and management of substance use disorders. Application Process and Eligibility

To be eligible for the Addiction Medicine Fellowship, applicants must be physicians (US citizens or work-eligible) who have successfully completed an ACGME-accredited residency program, an AOA-approved residency, or an international program recognized by ACGME International or similar entities in Canada. Applications are submitted through the ERAS system, and the program participates in the NRMP for fellow placement.

Interviews are conducted from early summer through the end of October, and applicants are notified via email. Special attention is given to candidates demonstrating a profound interest in addiction medicine, with a focus on their previous clinical training and educational background.
