Program Overview

The University of Puerto Rico Gastroenterology Fellowship Program is an extension of the Department of Medicine's Internal Medicine Residency. • Completion of an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine residency.

• Full Spanish proficiency is required as the clinical setting in Puerto Rico commonly engages a Spanish-speaking patient population 2.
• No more than five years from graduation from medical school.
