During this rotation, residents actively participate in the care of End Stage Renal Disease patients, alongside nephrology faculty and fellows, conducting evaluations, assessments, and formal case presentations. Application Process

The application process for the fellowship is coordinated through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS), requiring specific documentation including a medical school transcript, a personal statement, letters of recommendation, and USMLE scores. Candidates must be full Spanish speakers and should not have graduated from medical school more than five years prior.

Additionally, any candidate with more than a single failed USMLE Step examination will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis, emphasizing the program's selective nature and commitment to maintaining a competitive cohort.
