The Sleep Medicine Fellowship at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis offers a robust ACGME-accredited program designed for multidisciplinary training in the field of sleep medicine. It’s important to note that the fellowship positions are filled through the National Residency Matching Program (NRMP).

International Medical Graduate Requirements

For International Medical Graduates (IMGs), specific requirements are in place. Applicants must hold a valid Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) certificate. The program exclusively offers a J1 Visa for eligible candidates, and applicants requiring an H visa are advised not to apply. Additionally, graduation from an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine residency must have occurred within the last five years, underscoring the program's commitment to maintaining a high standard of quality in its applicants.

The program provides support for J1 visa sponsorship, facilitating entry into the United States for international trainees.
