This is the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio Joe and Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine Program for Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency.

• Program Overview: The program offers a fully accredited four-year training program in Obstetrics and Gynecology that fulfills the requirements of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology for specialty certification. The training program is conducted primarily at University Health System facilities and offers an interdisciplinary aspect of research and patient care.

• Accreditation: The program is fully accredited and approved by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education for 7 residents per year in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

• Training Facilities: The primary teaching facilities are at University Health System, which includes University Hospital and University Health Center. University Hospital holds a top 100 U.S. hospital ranking according to U.S. News and World Report.

• Educational Objectives: The educational objectives are based on the Council for Resident Education in Obstetrics and Gynecology (CREOG) objectives and are continually updated to enhance the residency program.

• Faculty: The faculty includes members certified in various subspecialties of Obstetrics and Gynecology, including Gynecologic Oncology, Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Clinical Genetics, Urogynecology, Reproductive Endocrinology, Infertility, and Minimally Invasive Surgery.

• Application Requirements: Applicants must apply through the Electronic Residency Application System (ERAS). Specific application requirements include transcripts, letters of recommendation, Personal Statement, photograph, and more. The program participates in the National Resident Matching Program.
