Baylor All Saints Medical Center Fort Worth Program

The Baylor Scott & White All Saints Medical Center in Fort Worth, TX offers a new and innovative physician resident training program in partnership with the Anne Burnett Marion School of Medicine at Texas Christian University. The program focuses on empowering residents to provide patient care by emphasizing communication, diversity, education, technology, and preparing physicians for the future. It strives to recruit students from diverse backgrounds and various medical schools to better understand the growing patient population.

For the Internal Medicine Residency program, residents follow a 4 + 1 schedule, where every 4 weeks of inpatient or subspecialty rotation is followed by 1 week of continuity clinic. The program offers core rotations such as Inpatient General Medicine, Night Float, Critical Care, Ambulatory Clinic, and a Point of Care Ultrasound curriculum. Residents are exposed to a high acuity and diverse patient population, providing experience with a range of pathologies.

The program integrates multidisciplinary huddles, teamwork, and leadership into inpatient rotations. Residents work closely with attending physicians and interact with various disciplines to provide comprehensive patient care. The Ambulatory Clinic rotation involves residents following their panel of patients over three years, serving as their primary care physician.

Throughout the program, residents have dedicated learning sessions, rounds, conferences, and hands-on training. The curriculum emphasizes continuous learning and skill development to prepare residents for a successful medical career.
