The Anesthesiology Residency Program at Cleveland Clinic Florida is a four-year accredited program, consisting of a Clinical Base Year (CBY) followed by three Clinical Anesthesia years (CA-1, CA-2, CA-3). The primary location for the program is at the Cleveland Clinic Weston Hospital, which has recently undergone significant expansion, enhancing its capacity and facilities to better serve its diverse patient population.

The residency program was launched in 2017 with an aim to provide comprehensive training in anesthesiology. Currently, the program accommodates a total of twenty residents, five in each class, promoting a tight-knit learning environment where residents can closely interact with faculty members. Formal didactic sessions are an integral part of the educational opportunity, where residents are relieved from clinical duties to participate in long-format lectures, journal clubs, and case discussions. During the CA-3 year, residents also work more independently, providing anesthesia for complex cases while honing leadership and teaching skills.
