University of Florida College of Medicine Jacksonville Program

The University of Florida College of Medicine - Jacksonville offers a four-year, ACGME-accredited Anesthesiology residency program. The program aims to develop the highest quality perioperative consultant physicians prepared for private practice, academic medicine, or advanced fellowship training. The program has 16 Anesthesiology resident positions and was founded in 2011.

Residents gain experience from rotations at various facilities, including a Level I trauma center, a children's hospital, and a proton therapy center. The smaller size of the program allows for flexibility in scheduling tailored to residents' career goals. The program offers clinical experiences spread across four training years (PGY-1 – PGY-4).

The extensive curriculum covers all areas of Anesthesiology and its subspecialties, meeting requirements set by the ACGME and the American Board of Anesthesiology.
