The University of Florida Department of Radiology in Jacksonville offers a unique integrated residency program in Interventional Radiology that lasts five years and is accredited by the ACGME. Curriculum

The curriculum structure is methodically designed to build progressively on diagnostic expertise towards advanced interventional skills. The first three years emphasize learning the intricacies of medical imaging and diagnostics, while also incorporating didactic lectures and multidisciplinary case conferences. In the subsequent two years, residents gain extensive hands-on training, becoming primary operators for a variety of interventional procedures, thereby instilling confidence and operational proficiency.

Residents will also encounter diverse rotations, including but not limited to vascular surgery, SICU, hematology-oncology, and pediatric interventional radiology at affiliated hospitals, enriching their educational experience through varied patient interactions and clinical cases.
