Curriculum Structure
The residency consists of three years of training:
Clinical Anesthesia – CA-1 Year

During the CA-1 year, they are primarily assigned to non-subspecialty anesthesia cases, including orthopedics, general surgery, gynecology, and more. This foundational experience is complemented with subspecialty areas introduced throughout the year, such as obstetric anesthesia and post-anesthesia care.
Clinical Anesthesia – CA-2 Year
In the CA-2 year, residents dive into subspecialty areas of anesthesia, rotating through cardiac anesthesia, critical care, and pediatric anesthesia, among others. This year is tailored to deepen their clinical expertise and prepare them for increasingly complex anesthetic challenges.
Clinical Anesthesia – CA-3 Year
The final year allows residents to customize their experience through the advanced clinical anesthesia track or the clinical scientist track, focusing on research. Residents are also encouraged to select rotations that align with their career aspirations and interests.
