Conway Regional Health System Program

The Conway Regional Health System Program offers comprehensive residency programs in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, and a Rural Family Medicine track. Each program is designed to equip residents with the necessary knowledge, skills, and experience to provide high-quality patient care, with an emphasis on compassionate service and lifelong learning.

Family Medicine and Internal Medicine Residency Programs:

• Competitiveness & Eligibility: The program accepts applications from graduates or soon-to-be graduates of medical schools accredited by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME) and the American Osteopathic Association (AOA).
• Application Requirements: The program requires applicants to:
• Apply within three (3) years of graduation from medical school.
• Submit passing scores on the USMLE Step 1 CK, Step 2 CK, and Step 2 CS or COMLEX Level 1, Level 2, and Performance Evaluation within three (3) attempts.
• Provide a Personal Statement, Dean’s or MSPE Letter, three (3) Letters of Recommendation, and Official USMLE or COMLEX Transcript.
• International Graduates: International Medical School Graduates must have a valid certificate from the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates before appointment, or a full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in a U.S. licensing jurisdiction where they are training. They must have six months of U.S. clinical experience and be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, as the program does not sponsor visas.

The emphasis is on developing skills in evidence-based medical practice, communication, and teamwork, as well as fostering a commitment to improving clinical outcomes and patient care.

Rural Family Medicine Residency Program:
