The Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) offers a six-year plastic surgery program with a focus on comprehensive training in general plastic surgery. Residents will gain experience in various areas, including head-and-neck, trunk, and lower extremity reconstruction, facial trauma, cancer resection and reconstruction, hand surgery, cosmetic surgery, burn reconstruction, and microsurgical reconstruction. Residents will also be involved in trauma patient management and supporting oncologic teams.

The program includes on-call responsibilities covering adult and children's emergency rooms, as well as inpatient management across three hospitals within a 20 minute radius. Residents will participate in plastic surgery clinics with attending supervision and have opportunities for chief resident cosmetic cases and injectables training.

LVHN residents can complete rotations in craniofacial surgery and microsurgery at other institutions. The residency has a strong board pass rate and a history of successful matches into various fellowships.
