This surgery program at Lehigh Valley Health Network offers a fully accredited five-year general surgery residency that prepares graduates for independent practice and board certification in general surgery. The program includes six categorical positions and two preliminary positions. The program provides comprehensive resident operative experiences across diverse categories, exceeding the RRC's minimum required numbers for various surgical procedures. Lastly, residents get opportunities to present research at national and regional meetings.
