The Ochsner Clinic Foundation Program provides superb, state-of-the-art training in Internal Medicine at one of the largest academic medical centers in the South. The Internal Medicine Residency Program at Ochsner consists of three separate application tracks in ERAS/NRMP: - Categorical Internal Medicine (3 years) - Primary Care Internal Medicine (3 years) - Preliminary Internal Medicine (1 year) for those pursuing advanced positions in another specialty requiring a preliminary year of training - Applicants should have graduated within the last 3 years. - The preferred minimum USMLE Step 1/Step 2 scores are 220 on the first attempt. COMLEX scores are acceptable for DO applicants. - For IMG applicants, J1 visas are required.
