The Emergency Medicine Residency at Rutgers Health/New Jersey Medical School is a dynamic and innovative program that offers excellent training in a high-volume, high-acuity urban environment. It is a Level 1 Trauma Center with over 5,900 trauma patients seen annually in the ED. The program deals with a high volume of penetrating and blunt traumas due to its close proximity to multiple highways, Newark airport, seaport, and NYC.
