These include LINAC-based external beam radiation therapy techniques, such as 2D, 3D, Intensity-Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT), and Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy (VMAT). Additionally, the program offers intensity-modulated proton therapy (the only pencil beam IMPT service in the state), total body irradiation, Gamma Knife Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS), and various forms of brachytherapy.
Training Sites
In addition to the Stephenson Cancer Center, residents train at the VA Medical Center, which is conveniently located within walking distance. This collaboration enhances the breadth of clinical exposure and treatment experience.
