The Virtua/Virtua-West Jersey Hospital Voorhees Family Medicine Residency Program offers a comprehensive educational experience in family medicine. Residents have the opportunity to provide in-office comprehensive care for patients and their families, gain experience in newborn care and intensive care in the hospital setting, and care for pediatric patients in outpatient settings.
Applicant Eligibility Criteria: - Applications must be submitted through ERAS. - Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. - Medical school graduation date cannot exceed 2 years prior to the academic year. - USMLE steps 1 and 2 must be passed on the first attempt. - Graduates of LCME-approved schools are eligible. - In-person or video conference interviews are required.
For International Graduates: ECFMG certifications must be complete, with a preference for US clinical experience.
Application Process: All applications for a PGY1 position must come through ERAS. The program participates in NRMP.
