The Ascension St Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis offers a comprehensive Family Medicine residency program established in 1970, making it one of the earliest fully accredited Family medicine residencies in the nation. Application Process:
Applications for the residency program are handled via ERAS and require the submission of an ERAS application, personal statement, CV, USMLE or COMLEX exam results, and at least two of the three required letters of recommendation. Interviews are conducted virtually, from October through December, and include a virtual meet and greet with residents. The program fills all positions through the NRMP, without offering pre-match positions.

Application Criteria:
To be considered, applicants must have graduated from a U.S. medical school or a WHO-listed medical school approved by the Medical Board of California within the last 3 years. FMG/IMGs are required to have a minimum of three months of U.S. clinical experience (externships, as observerships do not meet this requirement), completed all steps of ECFMG certification by the match results due date, and passed all USMLE/COMLEX Step exams within 2 attempts. Additionally, passing results for Step 1 and 2 are required before the rank list due date.
