The Cleveland Clinic Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program is designed to give residents the flexibility to customize their training. The innovative "tracking" program allows residents to choose from various subspecialties like Family Planning, Gynecologic Oncology, Maternal Fetal Medicine, and more. This ACGME-accredited program aims to develop competent, compassionate OB/GYN physicians with advanced skills through tailored curriculum tracks.
Residents have the opportunity to design their training with a focus on specific interests in women's health. The curriculum includes core training in obstetrics and gynecology fundamentals and offers rotations such as Obstetrics, Maternal Fetal Medicine, Gynecology, Gynecologic Oncology, Female Pelvic Medicine, Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility, and more.
The program also emphasizes the importance of diversity and inclusion, both in training programs and patient care. Cleveland Clinic values a culture of diversity and provides initiatives for recruiting and retaining a diverse resident population, including underrepresented in medicine (URiM) applicants.
Application to the residency program is through ERAS, and international graduates are required to have USMLE Step 1 and Step 2 scores uploaded into ERAS. The deadline for applications is October 1, 2023, and interviews will be conducted virtually following CREOG/APGO guidelines.
