The Eastern Maine Medical Center Program in Psychiatry begins accepting ERAS applications on September 1, 2023, for the class of 2028. The program conducts all recruitment interviews virtually, offering a tour of the hospital as well as potential site visits.

Application requirements include a completed ERAS application, medical school transcript, Dean's letter, three letters of reference, personal statement, picture, USMLE Step 1 or COMLEX Level 1 results, and any other ERAS requirements. The application review process takes place from November to January.

For international medical graduates, the program sponsors J1 visas. Clinical experience in the United States and strong passing scores on the ECFMG examination are preferred.
