Intermountain Medical Center Program

The Transitional Year Residency program at Intermountain Medical Center is a one-year program designed to provide a broad clinical experience for residents preparing for a career in a specialty field. The program is based at Intermountain Medical Center, a 504-bed tertiary care center located in Murray, Utah. Residents in this program have the opportunity to work in various specialties such as anesthesiology, radiology, radiation oncology, dermatology, and physical medicine and rehabilitation.

The curriculum of the program includes thirteen four-week rotation blocks, with required rotations in Internal Medicine, General Surgery, Shock Trauma ICU, Emergency Medicine, Ambulatory Clinic, Community Health, and Selectives.
